What is
Longevity Economics Ledger?
Longevity Economics Ledger is a student-run publication on the economics, investments, science, and future of human longevity.
It Started With My Grandmother
My grandmother passed away a few years ago. Afterward, I started reading about extending life span and health span. As I read more, I found the economics around it and the technologies being built to change it surrounded by a world of fascinating researchers and companies doing serious work.
WHY IT MATTERS
What a Student Perspective Adds to This Conversation
Most longevity content focuses on the science. I’m interested in the bigger picture.
But, how will it affect businesses, healthcare, investing, retirement, and everyday life? Who benefits from new longevity technologies, and who gets left behind?
The Longevity Ledger explores the economic and societal side of longevity for curious people who want clear explanations, thoughtful analysis, and better questions about the future of aging.

Nandini Mohapatra
Founder & Editor
I'm a junior at Hopewell Valley Central High School in New Jersey. I started Longevity Economics Ledger because I wanted to bring this conversation to readers who hadn't found it yet, and entrepreneurs, startups, and investors in the field.
I interview researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, and policy thinkers, then shape what I learn into something readable.
